We have been busy … For the Optima basketball team of Ghent, we took action shots of heroes on fire …When you see the sequense of all the images (10) behind each other they visualize one flow of a dunkshot …

Thx to Alexander Popelier for the nice collaboration. We took these pics together… And also to Foolhouse (a very nice graphic studio based in Ghent) for the teamwork …

(By the way: I hope you don’t mind the watermarks I’ve been adding to my pictures lately. But images get nicked on the internet faster than you can say ‘lawsuit’… And I speak from personal experience. Be warned.)

Two images of the Père Lachaise cemetary in Paris’ 20e arrondissement, made during a recent trip. First time I’d ever been on the legendary Père Lachaise. No need to say that it was absolutely wonderful, takig in account that I’m a bit of a graveyard nut. As far as photographing them, that is….

As far as these images go: find it hard to choose which of both is more interesting: the first has the rather nice oddity of the pigeon just passing over the graves, but the second image has better composition (graves are in my opinion ‘clearer’ and more evenly spread out across the image - I’ve always had a sort of obsessive-compulsive disorder when it comes to framing images: they ‘must’ be sort of evenly filled out…hard to explain. anyway…).
Maybe some of you might have an opinion on which to choose (if you HAD to in the first place, of course…).

This is a portrait of Jean-Pierre Wilssens, an orthopedist who’s company footScan makes specially adpated footwear for olympic athletes such as the Chinese olympic basketball and volleyball teams. The feet surrounding him are plaster casts of athletes’ feet.
